About Amy Mertz

Amy Mertz has been practicing massage therapy since 2003, when she earned her certification from Madison Area Technical College and passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam. She is licensed by the state of Wisconsin and formerly practiced at Wolf Haven Wellness Center in Mount Horeb.

Amy uses a variety of modalities in her therapy, including deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy and reflexology. She also enjoys pregnancy and sports massage, and working on children.

Amy has lived in Mount Horeb for nine years with her husband, Adam. They have two children. Amy also earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and women's studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and works part time at The Capital Times as an editor/designer.

Amy works Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings by appointment. Rates are $40 for 30 minutes and $60 for one hour; she accepts cash and checks. Call her directly at 220-9815 to schedule an appointment.
